Through digital collage, I critically examine facets of contemporary
Tunisian society by intertwining familiar imagery with symbolic
elermnents that expose the tensions between identity, social norms, and
the interplay of tradition and modernity. I have chosen to work with
digital collage to effectively navigate the rapid changes of our world,
capturing the fragmented and multifaceted nature of Tunisian life. This,
medium allows me to highlight the complex and layered reality of
modern Tunisia, encouraging viewers to delve into and engage with the
hidden layers within each piece. By doing SO, invite a deeper
reflection on the nuanced intersections of heritage and progress,
fostering a greater understanding of the delicate balance between the
past and the present.
